SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT - FULL TIME ROLE

We are looking for a Social Media Assistant to support the Marketing Manager in the delivery of effective social media content and campaigns across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and You Tube. You will be expected to start to develop your own plans ensuring best practice, manage paid social media activity and show ROI. This is a ground floor opportunity allowing the successful candidate to develop the role and themselves within the company.

Typical Daily Duties:

* Plan and manage social media campaigns.
* Keep a watching brief over all campaign activity, monitoring quality, checking feeds and advising or prompting appropriate responses.
* Tell our story with relevant, high quality content including written, graphic and moving image, to engage with and influence target audiences.
* Provide social media advice and pitches for activity across the company.
* Extent content over the company’s own digital platforms.
* Organise and brief relevant exhibition information and content.
* Support the marketing manager with any other marketing functions.


Person Specification:

Ideally, we are looking for someone who is degree educated in social media, or who has a minimum of two years’ experience in such a role. Other social media qualifications will be considered.
Knowledge of Adobe products, such as Photoshop and Illustrator would be advantageous.
Excellent writing and content creation skills.

GOODS IN TEAM LEADER - FULL TIME ROLE

A vacancy has arisen in our goods in department for a team leader. The ideal candidate must be able to manage the day to day running of the goods in department, organising a team accepting and unloading deliveries from both the UK and of overseas containers whilst enforcing all health & safety requirements.
The candidate must be willing to accept the opportunity of further training to increase their development within the business.

Requirements:

* Must be able to organise and deal with staff working in the 3PL warehouses and Beeswift depot.
* Must be flexible with regard to working hours as container delivery times can change.
* Must be able to work to timed deadlines.
* Must be able to communicate with internal sales staff via email and phone during your contracted hours, dealing with queries promptly and efficiently.
* Must be willing to learn in house IT systems.
* Must hold a full valid UK Driving License.
* Must hold a current counterbalance license or be willing to undertake training.


Duties:

* Organise staff working in the 3PL warehouses and Beeswift depot.
* Allocating containers to the correct warehouses and future scheduling.
* Ordering of pallets into the 3PL warehouses and Beeswift depot and organising collection of old pallets.
* Sorting and allocating of specials into the correct spaces and chasing the advice notes for these goods.
* Liaise with internal sales and external suppliers in regards to inbound deliveries.
* Sorting of select contracts work from a goods in point of view.
* Must achieve high levels of housekeeping.
* Able to record and keep up to date records that is relevant for the warehouse manager.
* Take internal team briefs with confidence and deliver them concisely.
* Speaking with recruitment agencies, recruitment and organisation of agency new starters and understanding of all agency requirements.
* Support Health & Safety in regards to new starter inductions

Job role is a 9am - 5pm position with all hours always subject to change given a 30 day notice period.

* Assist in completing tenders.
* Dealing with customer complaints via email and telephone.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
* Any other duties your line manager deems relevant to the smooth operation of the department.
